Free Midlands Fretted Orchestra concert set for Cradley church

The event, featuring the Midlands Fretted Orchestra, is being held on Saturday, May 9, from 2.30pm to 3.45pm.

The orchestra will perform a variety of pieces, including folk, blues, Gypsy jazz and classical, as well as popular film and TV themes.

Based in Pedmore, this award-winning local community ensemble is made up of guitars, banjos, mandolins and ukuleles.

The concert marks their first visit to Cradley.

Refreshments and homemade cakes will be provided after the concert.

Although the concert is free, there will be a retiring collection in support of St Peter’s Community Vision Project, which aims to improve the building’s community facilities.

The church has asked attendees to use local free car parks and on-street parking as there will be no parking available in the churchyard.

The concert is sponsored by Marlborough Print, Moneywatch Finance, and mha.
