Peaky fans invited to a blinding 1920s evening

FANS of the hit TV show Peaky Blinders will be able to enjoy a night of 1920s revelry in Wolverhampton.

Actors will recreate experiences of the time period together with lookalikes from the BAFTA award winning TV show at the Wolves Academy, which used to be the former Starworks building, in Wolverhampton on November 16.

The Star motor company expanded its production and built the factory on Frederick Street in the early 1900s and the venue now provides the perfect setting for the show.

Organizers of the event have also secured the appearances of three of the original Peaky Blinders gang from the hit show. Scudboat, Fred Farr and Lovelock will not only be attending the evening but will also be performing live for the first time together as the Original Peaky Blinders Band.

The evening promises so much with the original boxing ring from the series being used as a setting for entertainment and a back drop for filming/photo opportunities. There will also be cars from the time period being used together with other props and actors will all be available for photos.

The fantastic Cheaky Blinders will provide the main musical entertainment for the evening as they power through tunes from the show and the whole event will be held together by the Master of Ceremonies Charlie Hopkinson, best known as the impressionist of YouTube fame who recreated the voices of the Peaky Blinders characters for the hilarious World Cup skits.

The popularity of this style of event has required organisers to impose restrictions around the show. It is a strictly over 18s event, people are requested to dress 1920s/Peaky Blinders style in order to immerse themselves in the experience and tickets have been limited to allow sufficient room for the event to run smoothly.

Limited tickets are now available via skiddle.com costing £15 + booking fee.
